Luang Phor Niam was born during the reign of King Rama III in 2372. He was probably the most famous monk of Suphanburi. At his early age, he went to Bangkok to get his education from Wat Rakang. This is the temple of Somdej Toh ( The creator of Pra Somdej ) Wat Rakang. This is the place where Luang Phor Niam became novice and monk. Throughout his stay, he has learned and mastered in many lessons, especially the power of meditation.
Luang Phor Niam went to Wat Raw Charoen and resided there at the age of 40. The villagers requested him to come and stay at a small, abandoned temple called ” Wat Noi “.
Luang Phor Niam gladly accepted their invitation because he preferred to be in a remote area. After he came to stay at Wat Noi, many other monks have followed him to stay under his supervision.
His reputation has spread that Luang Phor Parn of Wat Bang Nom Kho came to seek his guidance. Luang Phor Nong of Wat Klong Ma Dan and Luang Phor Parn of Wat Bang Nom Ko later became one of his best deciple.
Luang Phor Niam has made many types of amulets. Most of LP Niam amulet were made of lead mixed mercury, Needless to say all are very rare and very expensive. Pim Ngop Nam Oy of Lp Niam Wat Noi is one of top no.1 Ngop Nam Oy in Thailand cost more than 150.000 baht for nice condition. Lp Niam also make Krueng Lang amulet such as Takrut which is very Rare and well known as one of the Top Krueng Lang in Thailand for protection.
His amulets and sacred objects are famous for the power of protection.
It was said that;
” HE WHO WEARS HIS AMULETS WOULD NEVER LOSE A SINGLE DROP OF BLOOD ” .
Luang Phor Niam passed away peacefully on the November of 2452, at the age of 80 with a posture like Relicning Buddha. Upon his death, there are thousands and thousands of small white wings bugs floated all over the river. No one has ever been able to take his photograph until he passed away.
