Wat Karong Temple is located in the former district of Bihar Daeng (currently Sanam Chai Subdistrict, Muang District), not far from Sanam Chai Temple, Suphanburi. There is a pagoda similar to the Ayutthaya period, Which today still exists.

This Chedi Karong built since early of Ayutthaya Kingdom era. Before B.E 2504 this temple people call as ” Wat Raeng” , then later the Stupa Broke out again and they give name as Wat Karong.

Phra Kru Wat Karong Temple were discovered mostly are silver-based alloy and glaze by white mercury. The Art is mix with sukothai Art but built since Ayutthaya Era, The Leela Created in same era with Leela Kru Chum Num Song.
