Lp Chey was born in 1869 to a poor family in Singburi Thailand, when he was only 2 his Mom passed away and he was adopted by his Uncle. At the age of 13 Lp Chey ordained in Wat Satian Watanadit where he will spent his entire lifetime in Monkhood there after, his preceptor was none other than Lp Taeng.

Following strict teachings of Buddism LP Chey practiced vipassana meditation on a daily basis spending a large amount of time each day cultivating his meditative abilities.

Upon seeing the dedication of Lp Chey, his Master Lp Taeng decided He was ready to learn wiccha and will spend the next few decades teaching him many ancient magical inscriptions and spells.

LP Taeng also took LP Chey to go on “Tudong” which involves walking on foot to make merits all over Indochina Land and to visit significant sites relevant to Buddhism. This was when he met with his other Masters such as Lp Suk , Wat Pak Klong Makamtao and Lp Rung ,Wat Tha Krabua. When He was older , Devotees and disciples pleaded for Lp Chey to take over Abbot position of the Wat Ta Kwai.

Lp Chey’s most famous Amulet would be his Pidta which is made of holy material mix with Phong Bailan powder and come in 2 molds the single face with yant and double faced ( Song Nak ).

Devotees of Lp Chey have reported many good experiences and miracle for The Pidta including avoidance of all danger and being free from harm in during accidents, as the Thai economy grew many of his devotees and wearers of his Amulets experienced great fortune “Mahalarp” in business and career. His Amulets has since become very valuable and rare with many remakes and fakes floating in the Amulet market due to high demand.

Phra Pidta (the closed eye Buddha), Luang Pho Chay, Ta Kwai Temple

Phra Pidta (the closed eye Buddha), “Luang Pho Chay”, Ta Kwai Temple has a significant blessing powers in term of protecting wearer from evil, ghost, and monster.

Ta Kwai Temple locates at the Eastern of Chao Praya River. This is an ancient temple which was built in the late of Ayutthaya, before succumbed by the Burmese. Currently, it is in Bang Putsa Sub-District, Muang District, Singhburi. This temple locates at the riverside and local people always bring their cows and buffaloes to drink water at temple’s waterside thus this temple has been called Ta Kwai Temple. Until 2481 B.E., the temple was bestowed Wisugcamsima (A Royal granting an official certification of temple status) and the temple name has been changed to Satien Wattanadid Temple.

Luang Pho Chay, Ta Kwai Temple, Muang District, Singhburi is one of the greatest guru monks of Singburi. He has high mercy, strong power of mind and incantation.

Luang Pho Chay was born in 2412 B.E., Singhburi. When he was 2 years old, his father and mother died and he was raised up by his uncle. When he was 13, his uncle took him to be an adopted child of Luang Pho Dang, Ta Kwai Temple. At Ta Kwai Temple, he learning how to read and write as well as studied many significant sciences. At 20, he was ordained as a monk at Ta Kwai Temple and the preceptor is Luang Pho Dang. Before ordination, he had already studied the incantations from Luang Pho Dang therefore he become a strong incantation monk. Luang Pho Chay stayed at Ta Kwai Temple for a certain period. Then he left to pilgrimage to practice the power of mind. His pilgrimage destinations were Lao, Khmer and Burma. During the pilgrimage, he had exchanged the knowledge with other guru monks, especially Luang Poo Sook, Pak Klong Makam Tao. Luang Poo Sook praised Luang Pho Chay as a strong power of mind guru monk. Moreover, Laung Pho Chay had many close guru monk friends, for example, Luang Pho Chang, Tuk Temple, Luang Pho Kong, Bangkapee Temple, Luang Pho Runf, Ta Krabue Temple.

Later, when Luang Pho Dang died, local people invited Luang Pho Chay to be a new abbot. As Luang Pho Chay had opportunities to exchange knowledge with Luang Poo Sook, HRH Admiral Krom Luang Chumphon Khet Udomsak (son of King Rama V and student of Luang Poo Sook) also respected and had faith in Luang Pho Clay.

There are many series of sacred objects made by Luang Pho Chay. All of them have strong blessing powers, for example, Phra Rhod Songkrut, Phra Sampeenong, Phra Sanggatjai, Phra Pim Ruesee. The most favorite one is Phra Pidta. Phra Pidta, Luang Pho Chay was made approximately 2460 B.E. It is an ancient amulet, made by Buddhist blessing powder mixed with rak (rubber from rak tree) and the sorcerous raw materials. Phra Pidta has solely black or black-to-brown color, sitting cross-legs with legs locked together. It can be divided into 2 moulds; (1) Pim Prakob Song Nga and (2) Pim Na Diew Lang Yan. Phra Pidta, Luang Pho Chay has a strong blessing power in term of protecting wearer from evil and monster.

Luang Pho Chay is an ascetic monk. He ate once in a day and loved to stay at monk’s dwelling to practice the power of mind. He created amulets and sacred objects in few amounts per each time, blessed them one by one and suddenly distributed to his disciples.

Luang Pho Chay died in 2469 B.E. at the age of 57 years and served Buddhist faith for 37 years. This amulet is Phra Pidta, Luang Pho Chay, Pim Song Nga (Favourite mould). The amulet is in excellent condition and easily be considered.
