LUANG PHOR SOOD

Luang Phor Sood Wat Kalong was born on the 7th May BE 2445. He was ordained as a novice monk at the age of 16. When he was older, he was promoted and given the title “Phra Kru Samut Thammasunthon”. Luang Phor Sood was known for his mystical knowledge and he also created the famous “Yant Takraw ” which resembles the Takraw ball.

Yant Takraw was made potent by Luang Phor Sood using his knowledge of Khmer and Laos incantations and inscriptions. The Yant was created to protect the wearer from ammunition as Luang Phor Sood did mention that when the bullet is fired, it will not penetrate the skin, flesh and bone.

In fact , there is a story about Teeyai and Luang Phor Sood. As the well-known Teeyai was in fact a discipline of Luang Phor Sood. Teeyai was said to be able to evade arrest by wearing an amulet and takrut consecrated by Luang Phor Sood . The story goes on with Teeyai getting shot and running from the police. Someone knew that the person running was Teeyai, gave him a lift in his car and even drove past a police roadblock without any trouble. The police caught Teeyai only after he misplaced  … the amulet given by Luang Phor Sood.

Luang Phor Sood also learned from various famous guru monks, such as: Luang Phor Mao Wat Klang Phanom Phrai, Luang Phor Roong Wat Thakarabeua and Luang Phor Kong Wat Bangkraphom. Luang Phor Mao was the first guru monk that Luang Phor Sood studied with since he was ordained as a novice monk at the age of 16. Followed by Luang Phor Roong Wat Thakrabeua, whereby Luang Phor Sood was the Chief Monk of District in BE 2484, he was involved in the consecration of Luang Phor Roong’s 1st batch medal. Noticeably, Luang Phor Roong’s most famous disciple was Luang Pu Toh Wat Pradoochimplee. Lastly, Luang Phor Sood also studies magic from Luang Phor Kong Wat Bangkraphom, whom he respected the most.

On 14 August BE 2526, Luang Phor Sood passed away at the age of 81 years old.

Luang Phor Sood was also the preceptor of Chao Khun Maha Surasak Wat Pradoo.

Lp Sood Wat Kalong is a high-profile master. Speaking of the holy monks related to tigers, everyone will blurt out the Luang Phor Pern of Wat Bang Phra, but before Luang Phor Pern, Luang Phor Sood supervised the creation of tiger holy objects Also very famous. The master’s several efficacious own cards have also made it one of the holy products that no one in the Thai amulet world knows. Luang Phor Sood was also the preceptor of Chao Khun Surasak, who is now very famous for making pipe symbols. After the master passed away in 2526 in the Buddhist calendar, the temple decided to cremate the master, but miraculously, after cremating Luang Phor Sood, his body remains intact, no matter how fierce the fire is, it cannot be destroyed. However, Thai people believe that The master is a holy monk who has become an Arhat, and his body has also become an imperishable golden body. Later, after discussions with the temple town council members, it was decided to place the bones of Luang Phor Sood in Wat Kalong, so that believers can continue to visit the master in the temple. At that time, many newspapers in Thailand had different headlines to report this incident, which caused a sensation in the Buddhist circles of Thailand, Malaysia and Malaysia. Luang Phor Sood and the famous gangster Tee Yai This incident should have happened decades ago, a group of vicious bandits appeared in central Thailand. Tee Yai in “Bandit” on the big screen, “Ajhan Sook Jai”, the white mage “Ajhan Sook Jai” who delivered the safe-haven relic that changed Tee Yai’s life on the screen, is Luang Phor Sood who played Wat Kalong in Long Zai Cuo. It tells the story that Tee Yai often went to Wat Kalong to help temple affairs in his free time every day. One day, he had the opportunity to worship Luang Phor Sood as his teacher and received three pieces of the master’s body protection as a blessing (as far as I know, it is a talisman tube and two Master’s own badges), Tee Yai was struggling for his life goals in poverty at that time. But after a while, he made a wrong friend and fell into a life of many crises in the future. However, Tee Yai easily dodged and escaped every time he was rounded up by the police. However, the distressed police officers interrogated the captured prisoners and obtained some information about Tee Yai’s living habits and other information. One of the police officers in Longzicuo District was actually told by the prisoner that Tee Yai’s daily life was Luang Phor. Sood was shocked by the data such as the amulet and other sacred objects, and felt that to capture Tee Yai, he had to go to Wat Kalong to meet Luang Phor Sood. After describing this, readers should also guess what happened to Tee Yai in the end. Shortly after the police visited Luang Phor Sood, they got the help of fellow Tee Yai from his hometown and stole the sacred object of Luang Phor Sood from him, and were surrounded and killed by the police. Tee Yai was born in Longzicuo Mansion in 2495 in the Buddhist calendar. He had been defending bandits for ten years and was about 30 years old when he died. Since then, after the news spread, all Thai amulet collectors have an indissoluble bond with Luang Phor Sood and Tee Yai.
