Luang Phor Pong Wat Jaeng was born on 4th January BE 2475. On 28th December BE 2492, at the age of 17 Luang Phor Pong was ordained at Wat Jaeng while his preceptor was Luang Phor Chen Wat Tha Miram. After his ordination, he went to seek knowledge from Luang Phor Noo Wat Jaeng who happens to be a close discipline of Luang Phor Dit Wat Pak Sak. Other than that, Luang Phor Pong also went and learned Wicha from other guru monks such as Chao Atikarn Zen, Phra Pinitthammakorn, Phra Khamvajajar and Phra Baideekanu. 

Nowadays, Luang Phor Pong is known to be a monk that is well-known for his Metta and Protection. In fact, he is also the teacher of Ajarn Uthai Wat Wikhansoon.
