Luang Phor Oun Wat Tankong is one of the venerable and well-known guru monks in the province of Petchaburi who passed on at the age of 94 years old. 

He was born on 9th March BE 2549 and is the first child of his family. At the age of 20, he was ordained at Wat Tankong on 21 July BE 2479. His preceptor was Phra Ah Ti Gaan Chan Wat Maap Bpaa Kao, Luang Phor Piw Wat Tankong as his teacher. After his ordination, Luang Phor Oun practiced Buddhism and magic under the guidance of Luang Phor Piw who was known for his magic in the province of Petchburi. Luang Phor Oun would also often travel to Wat Nong Mai Leuang which is located at Hua Hin to learn magic about Naga. Luang Phor Oun was very hardworking and due to this he was able to master all the magic from Luang Phor Piw. And is considered Luang Phor Piw’s famous disciple. In addition, Luang Phor Oun also traveled to Wat Dtanoht. It is said that even the King of Thailand went to visit in modest clothes. Ask Luang Phor Thong Suk to get a tattoo. At that time, Luang Phor Thong Suk didn’t take it seriously. He didn’t know that the person in front of him was the emperor. Afterwards, the emperor revealed his identity to Luang Phor Thong Suk. Luang Phor Oun is kind, upright, and pure. He has been interested in various spells since he was a child. But as he grew older, he became tired of the cycle of life and death and thought of becoming a monk. This monk is 74 years. People in Phor Oun will feel that Luang Phor Oun is not an ordinary monk. He has profound wisdom and concentration. Once, he picked up a stone and recited the scriptures with his heart, and the stone became an ordinary stone.

Luang Phor Oun has been a monk for a while and began to walk to the forest to practice. He traveled all over the place, and the people who met him were very respectful to him. Until one time, someone was willing to donate to him an area of ​​nearly 5,000 acres of land. Luang Phor Oun asked him : How do you want this land to be used? The man said: I want to build a monastery, a school, and a health center. So, Luang Phor Oun sent his disciples to build a monastery, a school, etc. there. There are more than 200 students. Although the story has just begun to spread, his name was spread in Petchburi more than 30 years ago. He is a good model for monks. . His life, only to help sentient beings, spread compassion to the world. For this reason, he also built monasteries, roads, schools, etc., to lay a solid foundation for future generations. One of his characteristics is that he “speaks straight” and his heart is united. No corners. No cover up. If you want to know anything, you can ask. If he knows, he will answer. If he knows, if he does not know, he will answer he does not know. The disciples have never seen Luang Phor Oun lose his temper. Master is a pure and virtuous, compassionate, who encourages the disciples to study, and also allocates money to the students of nine nearby schools every year.

Once a good believer wore the amulet of Luang Phor Oun and there was a miracle of being shot several times with a gun and miraculously survived. After the good believer was shot by a gun, his body was fine, but there were many holes in his clothes. .
