Within Suphanburi Province, there are plenty of well-known guru monks. But this biography we would be focusing on Luang Phor Mui Wat Don Rai. Luang Phor Mui officially named as Phra Kru Suwanwutacharn was born in BE 2431 in Samchook District Suphanburi Province. His The family consists of Mr Mern Misrichai, Mrs Sung Misrichai and five siblings . In fact, both of his parents are farmers.

On 25th March BE 2431, Luang Phor Mui was officially ordained as a monk at Wat Donduparam, Sriprajun District, Suphanburi Province. The preceptors were Phra Kru Dharmasarnruksa (Luang Phor Orn) Wat Donbuparam, Luang Phor Tuan Wat Ban Krang and Arjan Kul Wat Donbuparam .

It is known that Luang Phor Mui was a kind-hearted monk who loves animals. In addition, he was also strict on discipline. As a matter of fact, Luang Phor Mui visited many temples and studied magic. Some of the temples that he visited includes Wat Nongsadao, Wat Don Rai, Wat Huakhao and Wat Poobua. Not to mention, some of the top guru monks that he visited to learn magic from are Luang Phor Im Wat Huakhao, Luang Phor Orn Wat Donbuparam and Luang Phor Suk Wat Pak Klong Makhamtao. Eventually Luang Phor Mui returned back to Wat Don Rai where he stayed at the temple until he passed on. 

Apart from his dedication towards Buddhism, Luang Phor Mui was also known for his amulets, particularly his Phayant and Seu Yant which are well-known. And during the old days, government officials would often seek blessings from Luang Phor Mui before they attend any crime suppressant duties.

Luang Phor Mui Wat Don Rai (temple built in BE 2456) in Supanburi has experienced five generations of emperors. He was born on December 5th, BE 2431, which happened to be during the reign of the fifth emperor. He has 5 brothers and sisters, When I was young, my family was not rich, so Luang Phor Mui helped the family farm and raise buffaloes, while the master was motivated to defend the country. So when most Thai people went to become monks, Luang Phor Mui went to serve as a soldier when he was young, and in BE 2452 Following the Thai tradition, he formally became a monk. In Watthachang, Pak Singh was his preceptor. After the master became a monk, he became very interested in Buddhism and decided to formally convert to Buddhism and practice Buddhism. But things went against Luang Phor Mui’s His father was in poor health. In order to take care of his parents and his brothers and sisters, he had been a monk for more than 10 years, so he had to let go of his beliefs and formally return to secular life. He went home to honor his parents and serve his parents.

Suddenly one day, Luang Phor Mui became very ill. He couldn’t bear the suffering of his elderly parents and younger siblings. He made a wish to the Buddha. Well. In order to fulfill his promise, he settled the family affairs without any worries. 

He became ordained again on March 22, BE 2465, Luang Phor Ong was his preceptor for the second time. Luang Phor Mui’s master and Luang Phor Ong are more famous for their medical skills, Luang Phor Yin (Wa Hua Kao, Goddess of Fortune Very famous) learning meditation, Luang Phor Suk (one of the nine holy monks) likes Luang Phor Mui very much, and specially recruits Luang Phor Mui as a personal disciple (not ordinary disciples, and learns a lot more than ordinary disciples), Azan The stick (Wabang Teng) has very strong spells and is very good at curing diseases. The medicine made – tooth red is very famous, Luang Phor Ba (Wa v Mengkong Pala). 

Luang Phor Mui was the host of Wat Don Rai in BE 2458. In BE 2476, he was very prestigious in the local area, equivalent to the level of a great elder. In BE 2496, he became a preceptor and officially began to accept apprentices. In BE 2517, the master passed away unfortunately. , at the age of 86.

Luang Phor Mui i didn’t care about money, he was very strict in discipline, and he was very compassionate to the public. He never advertised his amulet anywhere. The monk at that time asked Luang Phor Mui for advice. Why is your holy relic so spiritual? Luang Phor Mui replied that the amulet has a efficacious effect, and the main thing is that the person who wears it has good thoughts.
