
Luang Phor Liew was born on 7 December BE 2448 at Ratchaburi Province. In fact, both of his parent’s occupations were farmers; however they were also struggling financially. Due to this reason, Luang Phor Liew has had to help out with his family since young .
There was one such incident that caused him to make the decision to learn magic in order to protect his family and their property as there were cases of stolen buffalos and cows happening in their farm.
Luang Phor Liew went to study magic with Karen Ajarn. The Karen Ajarn was Ajarn Mong. Luang Phor Liew needed to stay at the frontier between Thailand and Myanmar with 2 relatives. But one of the relatives passed away soon after having malaria fever while the other relative was afraid and came back home. Leaving Luang Phor Liew the only one to go and study magic.
Luang Phor Liew studied magic with Ajarn Mong for 3 years before coming back home. His only intention to study magic was for the protection of his family. Soon after that, he came home to help out with his family at the farm. Until one day , there was a rumor that the thief would come to steal the buffalo and cows from his family’s farm. During the night, the thief went to his family’s farm to attempt to steal the buffalo and cows yet they could not and alarmed the family and the neighbor living around them. The next morning, Luang Phor Liew went to the farm and found out that there was only bloodstain around the farm as the previous day he had made a magical ox to protect his farm. Luang Phor Liew even married and had his own family but soon he found out that it was not the true life that he wanted.
So at the age of 27, he was ordained as a monk at Wat Bot, Ratchaburi province. After ordination, Luang Phor Liew went to study magic and meditation from guru monks such as Luang Phor Daeng Wat Khao Bandai It, Phor Than Klai Wat Suan Khan, Luang Phor Yon Wat Baan Kong Yai and many others.
It was through learning from Luang Phor Yon that Luang Phor Liew himself had the knowledge of Payatao. In BE 2517, Luang Phor Liew consecrated his first Payatao amulet. Payatao is known to be able to help out wearers on protection and good luck. Soon, Luang Phor Liew was known for his Payatao. Besides, he also recites many famous amulets. Luang Phor has been an expert of concentration of mindfulness in Buddhism way. Luang Phor Liew passed away on 4 September BE 2543.
Wat Sai Thong is one of the temples that Luang Phor Liew spent time during his monkhood. Luang Phor Liew built Wat Sai Thong in BE 2520 at KanchanaBuri province that took 5 years to build. In BE 2525, Luang Phor Liew went to Nakhon Pathom province to build Wat Rai Deng Thong. Luang Phor Liew was the abbot of Wat Rai Tang Thong from 15 December BE 2535 until 5 December BE 2540. Then Luang Phor Liew went to his homeland at Ratchaburi province as he wanted to pass away in his hometown.
Luang Phor Liew was born: BE 2448 in the Buddhist calendar, passed away in: BE 2543 in the Buddhist calendar, and lived for 74 years. Luang Phor Liew is known as: the eminent monk who blessed the tortoise in Thailand.
Luang Phor Liew was born in Ratchaburi Province near Bangkok. He is the third of nine brothers and sisters in his family. His family makes a living by farming and animal husbandry. He was different from ordinary children when he was young. He was intelligent and very filial by nature. Help parents work, and like to study medicine.
In the Buddhist calendar BE 2475, the master was 27 years old at the time. After various experiences from childhood to youth, he began to feel the impermanence and reality of life. Everything was disputed because of money. The first master is: Luang Po Yi (越波).
Afterwards, he learned from LP Toh (Yuebo), LP Weng (Yueban Kuangshi), Phor Than Klai (Jinkou Holy Monk), LP Ka (Yueshujin) and many other monks. , plus the previous experience in practicing Dharma, he quickly finished learning them. At the same time, he went to the Kuangshen Wen Mansion in the north to pay homage to Luang Po Om as his teacher and learn the incantations of the stone tablet amulets.
Starting from BE 2481, the master has built and presided over 5 temples in total, namely: Viet Pan Tasao (BE 2481-BE 2484) Viet Sha Nam Win (BE 2484-BE 2520) Viet Sai Tong Pattana (BE 2520-BE 2523) Viet Li Ding Soup (BE 2523-BE 2539) Viet Nong Oh (BE 2539-BE 2543)
In BE 2540, Luang Phor Liew returned to his hometown “Viet Nong Oh”, he said: monks should learn Buddhism from Buddha in their life, and at the same time teach and help more people, don’t care about others being rich or poor.
Luang Phor Liew did not feel suffering all his life. He practiced rigorously in accordance with the way of ancient monks. He lived in a simple place and never used any material items. He was a vegetarian. He usually only ate some vegetables and rice. He liked to eat durian and betel nuts. On September 22, 2543, the master completed it in Viet Nong Oh, the last summer festival in his life, at the age of 95, and he lived as a monk for 74 years.
When the master passed away, and during the cremation period, when some believers took pictures, they saw rounds of yellow light appearing on the master’s body. These photos are now kept in the temple.
About Luang Phor Liew Amulet:
In the Buddhist calendar BE 2516, Luang Phor Liew started making amulets for the first time at Nanying Temple in Vietnam in order to help good believers exorcise evil spirits. : In the middle of the turtle-shaped mountain Kazai Wealth Buddha, there are ancient scriptures he has learned all his life on the front and back. After the casting was completed, it was independently blessed and consecrated for more than three months. It is said that many believers have seen the master put the amulet in a bowl filled with water, and keep blessing it until the Lucky Turtle Amulet floats on the water. Some parts have been submerged in the water, and the master pointed out that these cannot be worn by people.
Luang Phor Liew Miracle 1:
Someone once tried to shoot at the amulet of LP Liu BE 2516 and found that the bullet could not be fired. However, the pistol can be fired normally when it is shot at the sky.
Luang Phor Liew Miracle 2:
A Thai businessman faced failure in doing business, but after asking the master’s amulet, his business gradually improved.
Luang Phor Liew Miracle 3:
A Thai believer, who used to be a pauper, after taking Luang Phor Liu’s amulet, he has no worries about food and clothing, and gradually became a rich man.
Luang Phor Liew Miracle 4:
There was a boy who was originally hairless. After wearing the amulet of Luang Phor Liu, he had more than ten houses and his own chain business, and the business was booming.
Luang Phor Liew Miracle 5:
There is a female believer who is engaged in the business of golf membership. She gets a commission from a successful membership, which costs hundreds of thousands. She holds a basic salary. But after taking the master’s amulet, she successfully negotiated several deals. Moreover, there are still customers who take the initiative to buy membership from her.
