LUANG PHOR KONG

Luang Phor Kong was born on 20th September BE 2445 to the family of Mr Song and Mrs Ong. He was officially ordained twice. The first time that he was ordained was at the age of 21 at Wat Taprai, Trad Province in the year BE 2465 However, after 2 years and 3 months he disrobed. Then on 5th March BE 2477, he was ordained once again at Wat Chompulai, Trad Province by Phra Atikarn Pook as the Phra Upacha. 

Luang Phor Kong studied Dharma and Wicha from many guru monks including his own grandfather Luang Phor Kiriket. Luang Phor Kiriket is known to be an expert in Kongkapang (that protects devotees from all kinds of weapons). Luang Phor Kong also studied Ma Luy under Wat Marppai, Luang Phor Um Wat Stonoi, Luang Phor Joh Wat Pongrongsen and many others. 

Moreover he even traveled to Burma to learn a sacred magic called Seuasaming (Seuasaming was derived from an legend about the sacred soul of fierce tigers, which could transform into a man or a woman during the night hours. The locals were warned not to listen or follow any mysterious sounds after nightfall as it could be the sound of Seuasaming luring them.) in which he became highly specialized. Upon returning to Thailand, he consecrated many amulets which include amulets that feature the image of a tiger. 

Luang Phor Kong was respected by many other well-known guru monks. Just to name a few : Luang Pu Toh Wat Pradoochimplee, Luang Phor Krum Wat Wungwa and Luang Phor Srunual Wat Kwianhuk. Moreover, many temples throughout Thailand would often invite Kong Luang Phor to join mass chanting ceremonies for the consecration of amulets. Luang Phor Kong never rejected the invitation despite that he spent most of his time devoted to helping the sick with his secret herbal remedies. 

In BE 2508, Luang Phor Kong was appointed to be the abbot of Wat Wang Sapparot, Chantaburi Province. He stayed at the temple until BE 2532 when he passed on. Luang Phor Kong passed away on 25th September BE 2532 at the age of 87. Having spent around 55 years in monkhood serving Buddhism. 

Despite Luang Phor Kong having passed away for 31 years, he is still respected for his dedication and sacred powers. As during the period of World War II, he has consecrated many amulets to help innocent people to protect themselves from bombs and bullets. even news that it has been reported that a female devotee’s life has been saved from a deadly accident at Nongkla market, Tamai District by wearing Luang Phor Kong’s amulet. 

Luang Phor Kong was born on October 20, BE 2445. His father was Song and his mother was Ong. In BE 2465, he became a monk for the first time in Wat Taprai and returned to lay life after 27 months. When he became a monk, he traveled around looking for different spells, including many spells that consecrated holy objects and spells for liberation, and local residents would ask him for liberation or healing, and some locals would call him Magic doctor. Luang Phor Kong is kind and helpful. During the Second World War, he sent a large number of sacred objects such as talismans, talisman shirts, talisman tubes, balaj and tigers to every soldier who was going to fight in the area. , and all the soldiers who brought the holy objects from the master were able to return safely. Afterwards, the master made the local villagers love him even more.

Later, in BE 2508, Luang Phor Kong was appointed as the host of Wat Wang Sapparot. His image as a miracle doctor in the village was deeply rooted in the hearts of the people, and a very large number of believers came to visit Master. The most well-known event of the year, Luang Phor Kong intends to use one of the main roads in Chanthaburi, Sukhumvit Road (this road is a very important arterial line, which can go from Trat, Cambodia, to Thaburi, Rayong, Pattaya, Chonburi and Bangkok, etc. multiple cities).

Luang Phor Kong appeals to the believers in the temple to raise funds. There are also different types of fundraising in the temple, including holding Taipan pujas, making amulets, etc., to attract more people Come and visit. Unexpectedly, the emperor paid off. This time, a total of 9,399,485 Thai coins were raised, which was a complete merit. Because he was quite famous at that time, the Thai emperor also came to the temple to visit him in person, and the Buddhist calendar BE 2522 Year gave him a title, the English transliteration is “Phra Kru Arwishu”, which in Chinese means has endless power. Unfortunately, the master died in Wat Wang Sapparot until September 15, BE 2532. 

Luang Phor Kong attended the BE 2500 Walking Buddha Dharma Assembly in BE 2500 of the Buddhist calendar. Being able to attend this Dharma Assembly can be seen in his status. And many temples in Thailand often invite him to go. He never refuses. 

 And the cards he made are very unique, the back of the cards will be in the shape of a double-folded person, the Thai transliteration is called “Seuasaming”, it is an ancient legend, it can transform into a person’s sacred soul.
