uang Phor Derm was born on 6th February BE 2403 in Nakhon Sawan Province. At the age of 20, Luang Phor Derm was ordained as a monk at Wat Khao Kaew, Nakhon Sawan Province on 31th October BE 2423. After his ordination, Luang Phor Derm stayed at Wat Nong Pho and studied Dharma, Pali and magic from Luang Phor Chom (then-abbot of Wat Nong Pho) for 7 years. 

Afterward, Luang Phor Derm wanted to learn more magic for guru masters such as Ajarn Phan Chuphan, Luang Phor Mee Wat Ban Bon, Ajarn Yam Wat Srathalay, Luang Phor Noom and many more.

Luang Phor Derm is counted as one of the top guru monks of Thailand. As he knew his death date. On BE 2494, he called his closest discipline and the vice abbot to inform them that he would pass away soon and order the vice abbot to help the villagers and construct a temple for him. On 22nd May BE 2494, Luang Phor Derm was seriously ill. On that exact day, there was a strange event where the elephants that Luang Phor Derm had helped went to the temple to mourn for Luang Phor Derm. At 5.30pm he passed away. Even before Luang Phor Derm passed away, he asked the villagers about the pond near the temple. The villagers told him that the water in the pond nearly ran out. The villagers would have a hard time. After that Luang Phor Derm meditated for a while and there was rain for 30minutes.

Stories of Luang Phor Derm:

1. Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram (the prime minister of Thailand during 1938-1944, 1948-1957) respected Luang Phor Derm very much and always carried the mitmor blessed by Luang Phor Derm to protect him from danger. There was one incident. , Sir Marshal was sniped. Miraculously, the sniper could not fire the gun 2 times. Afterward the sniper chased and fired Sir Marshal until the bullets ran out but Sir Marshal was not hurt at all. The sniper was arrested and on that day Sir Marshal had the mitmor by Luang Phor Derm in his shirt. 

Luang Phor Derm was born in BE 2403 in the Buddhist calendar. He is a legendary monk in Thailand and the former host of Wat Nong Pho. Luang Phor Derm has built more than 30 temples in the northern part of Thailand. Like communication, all the sacred objects blessed, especially the Miemo Knife, contain powerful positive energy, which can protect oneself, ward off evil spirits, break the head, make holy water, and cure strange diseases. Luang Phor Derm’s blessings mainly include: : Extinguishing Demon Sword, Lion, Lucky Goddess, Must Fight, etc. 

But there are not many sacred objects blessed for a lifetime. 

In BE 2403, Luang Phor Derm was born. The soles of his feet had the exact same marks drawn by his mother. The parents were very happy, so they named them “Derm”, which means “exactly the same”.

Luang Phor Derm is the eldest son. There are five brothers in his family. Due to poverty, he cannot go to school. Luang Phor Derm stays at home to help his parents in farming. On the 4th, the mother saw that Luang Phor Derm was like this, so she sent Luang Phor Derm to become a monk in BE 2423. 

Luang Phor Derm has two preceptors, Luang Phor Ngen Wat Pabanlean, Luang Phor Keaw Wat Intarai. The Pali monk of Luang Phor Derm is named “Pu Ta She Ro”. After being ordained, Luang Phor Derm was arranged to study in Wat Nong Pho. Luang Phor Derm did not go to school and was basically illiterate. However, Luang Phor Derm worked very hard and studied hard. In just a few years, he became proficient in various Pali scriptures, and his Vipassana meditation practice is even more advanced.

Later, Luang Phor Derm practiced outside and learned from many eminent monks with profound cultivation. Luang Phor Derm is proficient in the “Vatu Mengkun” mental method, and Kongkapan (invulnerability) and Qiaoka (avoiding danger) are even better. Luang Phor Derm didn’t make himself and standing statues before BE 2470, but made Kreung Lang items such as Mie Mo Dao, Sing, Talismans, Talismans, etc. Master’s Mie Mo Dao is the first in Thailand. 

Luang Phor Derm has raised a lot of elephants in Wat Nong Pho. Every time the master is invited to participate in some pujas in other temples, he will take the statues back and forth. When the meeting is almost over, the elephants will go back to wait for the master. Some elephants will be very irritable when they are in heat, and often hurt the crowd, but as long as the master touches these elephants, the elephants will become very gentle. In Luang When Phor Derm passed away, the elephant even shed tears and hunger strike. 

In BE 2470, the disciples began to make metal cards for their master. Luang Phor Derm instructed his disciples not to put “monk rank” in the cards when making the cards, and Luang Phor Derm was awarded the highest monk rank by the 6th emperor, Luang Phor Derm is extremely low key. 

Luang Phor Derm passed away in BE 2494 in the Buddhist calendar. According to records, on a certain day in BE 2494 in the Buddhist calendar, that is, the day when the master passed away, the disciples in his temple told the water in the pond to be very low. The pond will be dry. At that time, the master was lying in the living room and nodded his head sickly, saying: “My children, I will leave this world. I hope that you will all become very good monks and be happy forever. I’m worried about the lack of water.” A few minutes after he finished speaking, the master passed away quietly, and suddenly there was thunder and lightning outside, and it rained heavily. After about an hour, the water in the pond was full. Luang Phor Derm He is very concerned about the pond in the temple and the nearby villagers. Since the pond is related to the diet and daily life of the monks in the temple, the master has also used his profound meditation power to pray for rain many times, and successfully solved the drought problem. 

This is also the last gift Luang Phor Derm gave to the world, and it also marks a perfect end to the miraculous deeds of his life.
