When Luang Phor Koon was at the age of 20, his relative and his auntie contributed a sum of money to send him to Wat Thanon located in Hat Yai. The following year, he was ordained at Wat Thanon on 5 May BE 2487. Phra Kru Wijahn Dtigit was the preceptor. Phra Kru Ajarn Torng Suk was his Dhamma teacher. His monk’s name is Pisuttoh.

Luang Phor Koon stayed in Wat Thanon to study dhamma. In addition Luang Phor Koon also learned under Luang Phor Daeng Wat Nong Pho. He learned Dhamma, Sammadhi and Wichah (magic) from Luang Phor Daeng. Luang Phor Koon was very diligent when he studied under Luang Phor Daeng. After seeing that Luang Phor Koon was so keen on learning, Luang Phor Daeng brought Luang Phor Koon to meet Luang Phor Kong who was the abbot of Wat HatYai. Then, Luang Phor Koon became the discipline of Luang Phor Kong.

Luang Phor Kong was a Phra Tudong (forest monk) and brought Luang Phor Koon to Tudong (forest dwelling). Besides Dhamma and Sammadhi, Luang Phor Kong also taught Luang Phor Koon Wicha (magic) on inserting Takrut into a person’s arm.

After learning from Luang Phor Kong for some time, Luang Phor Koon went for Tudong alone. He went as far as Laos and Cambodia, staying in the deep forests for several years. During the rainy season, if Luang Phor Koon was near town, he would stay in one of the temples near town to Khow Pansah (rainy season for a monk to stay indoors). If he was still in the forest, he would stay in the forest and continue his Tudong.

Luang Phor Koon returned to Thailand after more than 10 years of Tudong and resided at Wat Ban Rai. When Luang Phor Koon first arrived at Wat Ban Rai, the temple was in bad condition. There was only an old shelter, hall and Guti (place where Buddha statue is placed).

When the abbot heard that, he said that he had no ability to help, though it was his duty. Luang Phor Koon then asked the villagers and his lay disciplines to source for funds. Many people came forward and helped. The total funds collected was almost 2 million bahts and Wat Ban Rai was rebuild.

Luang Phor Koon was gradually gaining popularity in Nakhon Ratchasima. Whenever people would hear that Luang Phor Koon wanted to build a temple or a school, many people would come forward to help. Luang Phor Koon built many atchas, temples in Nakhon hospitals.

Devotees who go to Wat Ban Rai regardless whether rich or poor, Luang Phor Koon will meet them personally and bless them. He would specially make time for the poorer devotees, because to Luang Phor Koon, the poorer devotees need to earn a living, and thus their time is more precious compared to the richer ones who already have a stable livelihood.

Luang Phor Koon practiced earnestly with Luang Phor Kong and learned asceticism. When he finished his spells, Luang Phor Koon said goodbye to Luang Phor Kong and decided to travel around to spread the law and do good deeds. Everywhere he went, he was deeply respected by the local villagers. Luang Phor When Koon cultivated the Sawali Dharma precepts in the mountains of northeastern Thailand, he also nurtured the guidance and teachings of many famous Zen teachers in the deep mountains, which made Luang Phor Koon’s meditation and magic travel thousands of miles a day. 

All the way to Cambodia, he also subdued the wizard who lowered his head to him, saved many village patients with saliva and herbal medicine, and beat many evil people with twigs. Luang Phor Koon asked them why they didn’t reincarnate and they answered because they wanted to protect the property belonging to their land. Later, Luang Phor Koon taught Dharma and chanting sutras. They went to the local government the next day and asked them to dig and deal with the treasures under this land. If there is no supernatural power, how could they know the treasures under the whole land. This incident alarmed the king of Thailand and the emperor of monks. In their hearts At that time, it was clear that Luang Phor Koon was young, but he already had the supernatural powers that can only be achieved by high practice. However, Luang Phor Koon did not stop to enjoy fame because of this, but continued asceticism to the Cambodian race. Later, his practice was complete. 

After completing his practice, he missed his grandmother and began to walk back to Korat. The whole village was so happy to see him that he couldn’t speak. His grandmother told him that the temple you became a monk was so dilapidated, you should help or else here later Where can people continue to practice as monks? He made a big wish that if he had money, he would never collect a penny himself. He would build dams, hospitals, schools, and roads. Help all poor and needy people. 

But the temple at that time was only 1w baht, how to build it? Luang Phor Koon said don’t worry, someone will send money in a short time. The temple began to build more, because there was no safety equipment in the past, you may be seriously injured if you fall, and there was no hospital at that time. So Luang Phor Koon wrote I gave them the cloth talisman, but later someone fell and it was fine. So later Luang Phor Koon began to make this talisman into a golden needle talisman tube and injected it into the body himself. But these people later went to Bangkok to shoot guns, so Thailand’s largest All the shooting criminals were done by Korat people, and they couldn’t shoot at that time. Ajarn Khun Pan asked some eminent monks and then used the method they taught to catch them when they were drunk. After investigation, it was found that It turned out that Korat had a holy monk who used golden needles to help them shoot bullets into the body. This incident made Luang Phor Koon’s golden needles famous. Finally, the Thai emperor personally prayed to Luang Phor Koon not to spread this golden needle method to outsiders. Of course, some people questioned why Luang Phor Koon helped the bad guys. Luang Phor Koon said that if the amulet is given to these bad guys, they will respect the Buddha after witnessing the power of the amulet, and they will believe that the cause and effect will gradually change into a good person. 

Later, I experienced someone pointing a gun at Luang Phor Koon, but they couldn’t fire it. The female car clothing worker jumped off the fire on the third floor. It was okay.
