Luang Phor Suk is one of the greatest guru monks. He is widely accepted in Thailand as the most accomplished guru monk of Wicha.
Luang Phor Suk was born in BE 2390 in the Northern part of Chainat Province during the reign of King Rama IV. When Luang Phor Suk was 10 years old, his mother sent him to Krung Thep (Bangkok) to be raised by his uncle. Hence , Luang Phor Suk remained in Krung Thep. In fact, at the age of 21 Luang Phor Suk started his own family and had a son. It was until 4 years later, when he was at the age of 25 that he suddenly had the intention to ordain as a monk. He wanted to ordain as a monk as the tradition of the locals. Normally guys would ordain for a short-period of time before having his own family but Luang Phor Suk did not and secondly he wanted to ordain as a monk repay his parents as a form of appreciation. He was then ordained as a monk at Wat Po Bang Khan. His preceptor was Phra Kru Chey Janthasiri.
Luang Phor Suk then stayed at Wat Po Bang Khan to study Dhamma and Samadhi. He met many guru monks during his Tudong and he would learn Wicha from them. One of the guru monks who taught him Wicha was Ajarn Thum Wua Daeng. Ajarn Thum Wua Daeng was also the teacher of Luang Phor Ngern Wat Bang Klan. Another guru monk that taught Luang Phor Suk was Luang Phor Thong Wat Rachyota. Luang Phor Thong was also the teacher of some of the well-known guru monks such as Phor Than Klai, Luang Phor Parn Wat Bang Nom Kho, Luang Phor Sod Wat Paknam, Luang Phor Kong Wat Bankrapong and Luang Phor Chong Wat Natangnok.
After spending several years of Tudong, Luang Phor Suk decided to returned back to his hometown. However, the first thing he did was to visit his parents. His mother cried with happiness upon seeing him but his father had passed away long ago. then asked Luang Phor Suk to remain at Pak Kong Makamtao. Luang Phor Suk obliged his mother and stayed at Wat Pak Kong Makamtao until he became the abbot of Wat Pak Kong Makamtao. Luang Phor Suk even rebuilt the temple from a small temple to become a huge and beautiful temple.
Luang Phor Suk was revered as having great spiritual power and was the royal teacher of HRH Krom Luang Chumporn Khet Udomsak, who was the son of King Rama IV. Luang Phor Suk is known to be able to change any objects into different sizes. There are stories of Luang Phor Suk transforming elephants into house flies and transforming humans into crocodiles. All these stories are known throughout Thailand. He never taught this Wicha to anyone except Krom Luang Chumporn Khet Udomsak. Luang Phor Suk but not only taught so Wi cha about him out Dhamma.
Once, there were a large number of merchants that stopped by Wat Pak Kong Makamtao to rest. During those days, merchants would use elephants as a form of transportation. The merchants wanted to cook their meals at the temple but realized that they did not bring along enough meat. So some villagers jokingly asked them to use their rifles to shoot the pigeons at the temple so they could have pigeons for their meal. One of the merchants took the joke seriously and tried to fire his rifle at a pigeon but the rifle failed to fire.
The villagers stopped him and told him that Luang Phor Suk prohibited anyone from killing any living thing at the temple but the merchant refused to listen. He could not get his rifle to fire so he then tried to use a crossbow. pigeon but fell to the ground after only a short distance, nowhere close to hitting the pigeon. The merchant then became furious and shouted “What great power does the abbot of this temple have?”
Luang Phor Suk, seemingly able to hear the merchant inside his Kuti at an impossible distance, came out with hands carrying an empty coconut husk and went to the grazing field. He chanted a katha at the coconut husk and pointed it at the direction where the merchants’ elephants were grazing. Miraculously, the elephants turned into houseflies and Luang Phor Suk then trapped the houseflies in the empty coconut husk.
The next morning, when the merchants were about to leave, they could not find their elephants. They quickly went to Luang Phor Suk and told him that their elephants had been stolen. Luang Phor Suk preached to them the precept of not killing living beings: “If you kill a living being, the living being will feel pain. This is similar to the pain of losing your elephants.” Luang Phor Suk then taught them Dhamma and asked them to practice good instead of bad deeds. The merchants then realized that It was Luang Phor Suk who was behind the strange happenings the previous day.
Luang Phor Suk led them out from his Kuti, went to the grazing field, chanted a katha, removed the coconut husk and the houseflies turned into elephants once again. This miraculous event was witnessed by many.
Grom Luang Chum Pron never taught it to anyone else as he passed away in the same year as Luang Phor Suk. Luang Phor Suk Wat Pak Kong Makamtao passed away on 21st January BE 2466 at the age of 76 leaving a magnificent legacy.
Luang Phor Suk was born in the age of the fourth emperor of Thailand. At the age of seven, he entered a Buddhist temple to study and study Buddhism. The master is extremely smart, and has the ability to remember it. He is extraordinary, never forgets Buddhist principles and codes of practice. This greatly helped Luang Phor Suk’s early practice. The earliest knowledge practice was completed during this period. After that, Luang Phor Suk often traveled around to practice for his own improvement, and his mana was also Eventually it reached an unfathomable level, and was briefly evaluated by the world as “making the impossible possible”, and Luang Phor Suk’s actual reputation at that time was actually as famous as Somdej Ajahndo, the nine great monks. It’s just that Ajahn Duo focuses on meditation, promoting Buddhism, teaching people to meditate, and practicing.
And Luang Phor Suk is famous all over the world for his supernatural powers and spells. Many impossible things have been turned into reality by the master. He is known by the world as the most supernatural monk in the history of Thai Buddhism, and he is also the only one who can master wind. The eminent monks who have 108 kinds of spells with four attributes of wind, water, fire, and earth must know that many monks spend their entire lives mastering one of the four attributes of wind, water, fire, and earth, but Luang Phor Suk can master all of them. It also shocked all the monks at that time and later generations. Luang Phor Suk’s many types of amulets are among the top five in Thailand’s history in the amulet category.
The temple where Luang Phor Suk practiced is called Wat Pla Kong Makamtao. It is located in the northern region of Thailand, where there are many records of his miraculous deeds. At times, many benevolent believers will be invited to donate to the temple and give alms, so that the monks in the temple can get good offerings.
In addition, there is a river outside the temple. Luang Phor Suk put a hemp fly into the water, and when he took it out, it would turn into a crocodile. Phor Sanit’s mentor Ajarn Bing, the woodcarved crocodile given to his daughter by Ajarn Bing also turned into a real crocodile after encountering the river, but in contrast, Ajarn Bing’s crocodile was carefully hand-carved by himself, incorporating a lot of his own mana, And Luang Phor Suk took an ordinary hemp rope.
And another deed is that when the master was alive, on one of the Buddhist days, the master summoned the disciples in the temple and told them that today is a very good day, and I will write an ancient spell “Nalucha” (Chinese meaning: famous , become famous), you hang the talismans on the temple, many people will come to donate to the temple today, after the talismans are hung up, in a short while, there are many good believers from Luo Yi who come to donate to the temple and make offerings to the monks. Don’t be surprised, marvel at the master’s high-strength mana.
Miracles also happened after the master passed away. In BE 2504, a Thai magazine reported that the wooden door built in front of Luang Phor Suk in Qugang and Jiedou Buddhist Temple was stolen by thieves. It turned out that the thieves wanted to sell the door. When he went to a foreign country, the thief sent the door to his place and put it away, and met a child about 13 years old. This young man’s voice was obviously different from the past. He claimed that he was the door owner and told him to immediately return the door to the Buddhist temple. The thief panicked. Get up and immediately send the door back to the Buddhist temple. The above deeds are recorded in Thai books and temples, and the credibility is very high. Until now, in the hearts of Thai people, Luang Phor Suk is a monk with high mana and supernatural powers.
There are countless miraculous deeds in the life of the master. It is said that once a group of elephant merchants in Chiang Mai led about ten elephants through Wat Pla Kong Makamtao and stayed in the Buddhist temple for a day. The merchants drove the elephants to the area near the Buddhist temple. , the others were preparing food for meals in the Buddhist temple, and later found that there was not enough food, so they suggested to the pigeons in the Buddhist temple. A businessman picked up a long gun and fired at the pigeons, but the bullet could not be fired after firing the long gun many times, so the businessman turned. It is strange to say that the long gun can shoot bullets. After hearing the gunshots, other people in the Buddhist temple and the businessman like the statue came separately.
The people in the Buddhist temple knew that the businessman wanted to kill the pigeons, so they said that Luang Phor Suk said that the pigeons in the temple should not be shot. The businessman who took care of the elephant said, what a big deal, and cut the ax at his feet. Every time he cut it, a wooden branch was cut out, but the wooden pillars of the Buddhist temple were broken. It turned out that the businessman was also a man with magic power. They were all destroyed. At this time, the master just came back from the outside and saw that the elephant was stepping everywhere and eating all the crops, and the wooden pillars of the Buddhist temple were all destroyed. He walked towards the elephant with half a coconut shell. The businessman who took care of the big statue went back to look at the big statue and found that the statue was gone, so he panicked and said to other businessmen that the businessmen didn’t know what to do, so they asked the master, and the master said, you have made my Buddhist temple like this, The big statue also trampled the crops everywhere. You should repair the Buddhist temple for me immediately. When you find the big statue tomorrow, leave immediately. The merchants had to agree that the Buddhist temple has been repaired in the morning. half of the coconut shell and said, “Your elephant is here, and then picked up the coconut shell, and everyone was shocked. They saw that the elephant had turned into a tiny fly, covered by the coconut shell, and followed the elephant. It changed back to its original size in a blink of an eye, and everyone immediately knelt down to worship the master, feeling admiration, and left the Buddhist temple.
Luang Phor Suk passed away in 2466 B.E. It has been nearly 100 years old, but the holy relics of Luang Phor Suk are still a very high collection of holy relics until now.
There is an important reason why Luang Phor Suk is known as the first person with supernatural powers in the history of Thai Buddhism. Take his amulet as an example. The rosary made by Luang Phor Suk is the first in Thailand; The amulet is one of the five metal Buddha cards in Thailand; the Luang Phor Suk metal plate is one of the five metal monks in Thailand; the Seven Dragon Buddha is one of the five seven dragon Buddhas in Thailand; 1. Seeing that so many holy relics of Luang Phor Suk have been shortlisted for the list of famous amulets in Thailand, I believe no one will doubt the divine power of the eminent monk. In addition, Luang Phor Suk has done many good deeds in his life, and was later unanimously evaluated by the Thai Buddhist circle as One of the nine holy monks in Thailand.
Luang Phor Suk is one of the few holy monks in Thailand who can be promoted to the state emblem. When going north to Bangkok to Chai Nat, as soon as you enter the state capital, you will see a huge street sign with the image of Luang Phor Suk on it. Everyone wears the amulet of Luang Phor Suk and considers him the patron saint of the state capital.
Luang Phor Suk is one of the most eminent monks in Thai Buddhism, and he is also known as the God-Xing Taibao. He was born in BE 2390 of the Buddhist calendar. His surname is “Keatsaves”. When the master was ten years old, his parents wanted him to study in the capital. Adopted Luang Phor Suk to his uncle Naifen’s family and let them take him as their adopted son.
One day Luang Phor Suk made a bet with his uncle’s son Naiding, if you can catch my sister, I will serve you, and Luang Phor Suk thought about it and knew that he and his sister Song Wen are not related by blood, so He agreed. But knowing that his sister has many rich children who came to pursue her, he didn’t want to admit defeat, so he studied art and spells with his foster father. However, the foster father was afraid that he would learn magic and go out and make trouble, so he rejected him. But Luang Phor Suk didn’t give up, so he stole through his foster father’s scripture, and finally found the mantra, after dozens of years Day finally practiced. So it was applied to Song Wen, and as a result Song Wen began to fall in love. Soon Luang Phor Suk felt that the time was right and he indicated to his adoptive father that he would take Song Wen as his wife, and Naifen finally agreed.
He was 21 years old when he got married, and gave birth to a son named Di Zaishan one year after marriage. When Luang Phor Suk was 25 years old, he suddenly wanted to become a monk. To express his love for his parents. However, Luang Phor Suk has not respected the custom, and he felt very sad about not being able to repay his parents for his upbringing, and finally got his wife’s permission to let him become a monk for a short period of time.
And Luang Phor Suk became a monk at Wat Phu Tong Rang in Nonthaburi. Phra Kru Chui, the abbot of the temple, was the preceptor, and he gave the Dharma name “Phra Sook Keatsalo”. Indulging in it, when his family came to pick him up three months later, he still refused to return to vulgarity, and his wife did not force him. After the cassock offering ceremony, Luang Phor Suk decided to go to the mountains to practice ascetic precepts. After countless experiences It was a tough time, but he persevered through it all.
Once Luang Phor Suk went to a cave with ten old monks and saw an old monk meditating. He could see his skill at a glance, so when he came out, he began to worship him as a teacher, and the old monk said. “Whoever can meditate in this cave for one night, I will accept him as a disciple.” Everyone thought it was very simple, but a few hours later, a gust of cold wind suddenly blew, and suddenly a big tiger came out, scaring him. immediately packed up and fled. At this time, only Luang Phor Suk was left, and Luang Phor Suk also felt the threat of tigers, but he thought that since he decided to become a monk, it was equivalent to dedicating his life to the Buddha, so let the cause and effect decide. Hold the devotion mantra silently to resolve karma and resentment.
In the next morning, there was only Luang Phor Suk left at the scene, and the old monk also accepted Luang Phor Suk as a disciple and taught Luang Phor Suk his spells. It turned out that the tiger last night was made of leaves by the old monk, and Not only can you transform into a tiger, but you can also transform into crocodiles, rabbits, snakes, etc., and you can transform into any kind of animal.
Another time, when Luang Phor Suk went to a very steep mountain, he saw an old man who was going down the mountain, so he bowed to him, but the old man saw Luang Phor Suk had a flash of inspiration, and thought that this person was extraordinary, so he decided to take him as a disciple after testing He said that if Luang Phor Suk could follow the old monk closely, he would accept him as a disciple. But Luang Phor Suk thought this was an opportunity to learn new spells, so he followed the old monk. Walking to the bottom of the cliff, and then jumped off, Luang Phor Suk jumped, wondering if the old monk was going to commit suicide?
Later, I thought that since I had made a promise to the eminent monk, I would never go back on it. So I closed my eyes, put my hands together and jumped down. It was too late to say it, and Luang Phor Suk suddenly felt that his whole body was as light as a fallen leaf , came back to his senses and found himself standing at the entrance of the cave, and walked in in shock, but saw that the old monk was already waiting for him, he knew he had met an expert, so he knelt down and coughed three times, the old monk also Satisfied, he knew she was right, and taught him countless spells, and told him not to pass these spells on to those with evil intentions, otherwise it would definitely cause harm to the world.
Luang Phor Suk is most famous for the “Eitipiso” mantra, and because of the many miracles of the sacred objects made by the master, he is also known as the “God of Chao Phraya” (Mae Nam Chao Phraya, also known as the Maenam River). Also because of Long Po Shu’s very powerful and well-known meditation powers, Kom Me Luan Chupom, the twenty-eighth prince of the fifth emperor at that time (known as the “father of the navy”) also worshipped him as his teacher. When I visited the master once, I saw Luang Phor Suk turning hemp rope into a rabbit and running around people, and even turning leaves into crocodiles.
Prince Chupom and Luang Phor Suk exchanged a lot of magic experience, and Luang Phor Suk also felt that the prince was righteous and kind, so he accepted him as his first disciple, and taught him the spell of shooting lotus leaves (Yewang bullet, introduced below), saying: “I only teach you this spell. Because you are responsible for defending the country, you must not teach others. You are the first and last person I meet.” Later, Luang Pho Suk also taught He learned a lot of the prince’s spells and the secrets of making tagu, and after that, he continued to turn bad luck into good luck and made countless contributions to peace.
Prince Chupom learned many esoteric methods from Luang Phor Suk, and he was deeply convinced by Luang Phor Suk. Once, in order to promote the magic power of Luang Phor Suk, he held a small piece of the master’s cassock in his hand and said to the soldiers on the sea ship , as long as you hold this piece of cassock cloth, you can get the magic protection of Luang Phor Suk. Who dares to jump into the sea with this cloth. At that time, there were many sharks in the sea, and the soldiers who were about to try all retreated. Suddenly a soldier stood up Said: “If the officers don’t try, let me try!” So the soldiers took the cassock and tied it on their heads, took off their uniforms and jumped into the sea.
A miracle happened. The sharks next to the soldiers were far away from him. All the officers and soldiers of the ship were surprised that the little piece of cassock cloth of the master had such incredible magical powers, and the soldier was named captain because of his extraordinary courage.
In addition, the amulets supervised by Luang Phor Suk are not only the most famous and expensive Dharma cards, but also the Dharma Amulets and Futongs are also quite well-known. Version). Legend has it that Luang Phor Shu’s Fu Tong blessing is very special. After making it, you have to go to the river next to the temple on Vansau Day, dive down to draw the Fu Tong, and let the Fu Tong float by itself. It is said that Luang Phor Suk can go down in one breath for more than an hour.
Laung Phor Suk is very famous for four spells: Hades Bullet (Wind), Incense Ash Vulcan (Fire), Sammi Changes to Mountains (Earth), White Sand Changes to Water (Water).
The first bullet of Hades: Luang Phor Suk changed in the village of Makamtao. One day Luang Phor Suk passed a lotus pond, met the village chief, and borrowed a pistol from the village chief. After hearing the news, the villagers all came to watch, But Luang Phor Suk just played around with it and returned it to the village chief, and then said to the village chief: “There are many fish in this pool, you can shoot them all with one shot.” The villagers thought that was impossible, because the water surface would refract , it is difficult to hit one, let alone the whole pool? I saw the village chief fired a shot and the bullet went into the water. Suddenly, there seems to be a water snake in the pool. After a while, the pool became calm, and the villagers asked, “Why didn’t the dead fish float up?” Luang Phor Suk replied, “The monks hold the precept of not killing, of course they can’t kill, you go and check the lotus leaves. Bar. “
The villagers were curious, so they jumped into the pond to examine the lotus leaves. When they saw that there was a hole of equal size in each leaf, Luang Phor Suk said, “This spell can only be taught to soldiers and generals who are truly patriotic. , so that they can defeat many evils at the same time when fighting against evil, but if bad people learn it, wouldn’t the world be in chaos? So this spell called Hades Bullet can only be passed on to people with a sense of justice.”
The second censer Vulcan: Take the incense ash in the censer, sprinkle it after chanting the mantra, and burn it wherever it floats.
The third item: Sprinkle rice and turn it into a mountain: Sprinkle the rice after blessing, and a hill will grow.
The fourth item is turning white sand into water: Sprinkle the sand after blessing it, and wherever it is sprinkled, it will be submerged in water.
At the same time, Luang Phor Suk also accomplished the spells of the four major methods of earth, water, fire and wind, which shows how sharp the spells were in the past.
One day, Luang Phor Suk remembered his parents who had been separated for many years, so he walked towards his hometown. When he walked to a big river, the water was very fast and it was impossible to swim there, so he had to go along the river. Go down. Soon, Luang Phor Suk saw an old monk, so he went up to express his condolences and told him that there would be no boats passing by and there would be no need to wait here. Everyone can fly over, why can’t I fly over?” Luang Phor Suk thought to himself that the old monk might have gone crazy. Seeing the old monk walking towards the water, he stepped forward to stop him, only to see the old monk stepping on the water and talking with him. Didn’t sink, and walked across. Luang Phor Suk was stunned for a moment, and then coughed three times, and then came a voice from the opposite side, “Young monk has a chance to come to me.”
As a result, it took two days to see a boat and asked the boatman to take him across the river. As soon as I got to the shore, I saw two tigers swimming along the shore. But the tiger seemed to have no ill will, both walking ahead, then looking back at Luang Phor Suk as if waiting for him. So Luang Phor Suk followed, and came to an ancient temple, and the tiger suddenly disappeared. I saw an old monk sitting there, Luang Phor Suk met the old monk, and was also awarded several kinds of water The related spells, in addition to walking on the water, can also separate the river water, go into the water to meditate, and come out without dripping water.
Later, Luang Phor Suk returned to his hometown to visit his relatives, but after being persuaded by his parents and relatives, the master decided to stay and live in a local ancient temple that had been abandoned for a long time. In front of this temple is Mae Nam Chao Phraya, also known as the Chao Phraya River River), named Wat Outong, after years of expansion by Luang Phor Suk, it was later renamed Wat Pla Kong Makamtao.
There are many crocodiles in the big river in front of Wat Pla Kong Makamtao, which often hurt the villagers. Luang Phor Suk felt sympathy, so he took a glass of water and went to the pier in front of the temple to bless the water into the river, and then said that monks cannot Killing, so we can only cast spells to protect the people. It is also strange that any crocodile swimming within the range of the village will not be able to dive into the water, but can only float on the water, and the villagers will be prepared. human case.
It is said that these magical spells were only passed on to Prince Chupom, while other disciples only got the method of avoiding disasters and avoiding danger, attracting wealth and attracting popularity. It is said that these magical powers that can change have also been lost in Thailand.
In May BE 2466, Prince Chupom got plague and died at the age of 44. In December of the same year, Luang Phor Suk also passed away peacefully at the age of 75. When Luang Phor Suk’s spiritual cabinet was placed in Wat Pla Kong When the Makamtao ceremony was held, nearly ten thousand geckos appeared around for no reason, just like ten thousand crocodiles came to make a pilgrimage. Since then, a generation of holy monks passed away.
