It is firmly believed that Luang Phor Tong Susungwaroe was a true ”arahant” who possessed ”apinya” and higher knowledge with the ability to contact Luang Phor Tuad who had passed away many years ago. that Luang Phor Tong possessed a “celestial eye” that could see into the future.
Luang Phor Tong also known as Phra Ajarn Tong was born in the year BE 2542. At the age of 6, Luang Phor Tong received his education at Wat Mae Pia, Amphur Namon, Songkhla. By the time Luang Phor Tong reached the age of 20 , he was ordained as a monk and studied Wicha under the guidance of Luang Phor Phet.
As a young monk, Luang Phor Tong would often travel to Malaysia and stay at Wat See Dtawam (Wat Bunyaram) or Wat Tambun as this name is better-known in the Chinese community. He would also spend many years to go Tudong in the Southern part of Thailand and the town located at the Malaysia border. Luang Phor Tong was a strict vegetarian throughout his entire life and a relative of Luang Phor Daeng Wat Seemahapho whom he would often visit as they were close friends.
Luang Phor Tong’s amulets are very popular. In particular his rian blessed in BE 2526 known as Luang Phor Tuad Lin Dam (black tongue) Niyom is one of the most highly sought-after amulets due to reports of miraculous events associated with it.
Luang Phor Tong passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on 21st November BE 2543. Luang Phor Tong was the first abbot of Wat Pakor for well over half a century. After Luang Phor Tong passed away,his body was preserved in a simple glass frame . Up till today there are still no signs of decay. Originally the temple planned to display his body for only 100 days allowing his devotees to pay their last respects, but now years after the amazing preserved state is considered yet another of miraculous events that surround Luang Phor Tong. In fact, there are many people that state that it is almost as if Luang Phor Tong is still alive.

Luang Phor Tong died on November 21 , BE 2545 at the age of 92, the earliest Wat Bak in the 25th century . The temple is also often referred to as Batipat Pakor. Batipat is just a place of worship .
Luang Phor Tong was born in BE 2452 . He was educated at Wat Mae Pia , Amphur Namom , Songkhla on June 6 , and at the age of 20 , he was also ordained as a monk and studied Wicha, the ordination master at that time was Luang Phor Phet.
When the master was young, he often traveled to Malaysia and stayed in Wat See Dtawam (now known as Wat Bunyaram ) or Wat Tambun for a long time to practice. And the master also went to the states in southern Thailand and the border towns of Malaysia to practice asceticism . The master insisted on vegetarianism throughout his life. From time to time, he would visit a relative monk Luang Phor Daeng , Wat Seemahapho, to learn different Buddhist principles and Dharma knowledge .
The amulet sacred objects made by the master are diverse, especially the famous one , which was consecrated in BE 2525. Among them, there is also the dharma of Luang Phor Thuad Lin Dam on the card . After the master’s death, his body was preserved in a simple glass frame, and to this day , there is still no sign of decay in his body. Originally, when the master passed away , it was estimated that the golden body of the master could only be displayed for about 100 days before cremation was required . However, after many years , his golden body still has not changed . This miracle has spread throughout southern Thailand, and many The believers who have paid homage to the master’s golden body all agree with each other , feeling that this generation of holy monks seems to be alive .
And a quote from Luang Phor Tong , still circulating in Good Faith Reflecting on the unbreakable body I have seen, I have an insight, although our body has experienced life-and-death happiness and pain, sin and merit ; our Buddha in In all of this remains the same . Everything we know, feel, experience, have, is ultimately unreal and not ours. The Buddha was an illusionist, turning the legal illusion wheel to the legal illusory life . If there is any form of enlightenment in life, it is also unrealistic, there is nothing to achieve, and there is no painful end. And what about the absolute truth, the real indelible body that we can’t see? Meditate on this Katha , especially the last verse, for the answer:
” Every night, I sleep with Buddha and wake up with me every morning , whether sitting or standing, whether speaking or silent, never leave me, like a shadow behind me, knowing that Buddha is there Where, look at these words .
