The Legend of Phra Kru Chi Pha Kow begin in year 1357 A.D when The King Lithai of Sukothai in the process of Made Phra Buddha Chinnarat have one Lersi come to help The King built Buddha Chinnarat at Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat.

The temple is very famous because of its golden buddha image called Phra Phuttha Chinnarat, which is considered by some Thais to be the most beautiful buddha image in the country.

After Phra Chinnarat Statue Finished , than The Lersi was gone and dissapear in the area of Wat Chi Pha Khaow.

So for thanks The Lersi, King Lithai of Sukothai Kingdom order people built temple in this area, Keep and Seal the Phra Kru inside the Chedi , then give name is Wat Chi Pha Khaow.

This Phra Kru Chi Pha Khaow is one top famous Phra Kru from Phitsanukok province,very rare and hard to find in good condition because many collector keep it.
